How to Import a Project
đź’ˇIn Loop Logics, you can either create a new project or import a project using an onsite sheet or similar document that contains the relevant project details. Loop's AI will read the document and populate the project fields for you, ready for review before it's saved.
Steps:
- Select the plus icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen, then select Import Project.

- Choose whether to import the project by uploading a file or inputting text.

- To upload a file, drag and drop your document into the designated box, or select it from your device. Once the document has been chosen and uploaded, you'll see the name of the selected file.

- Select Import to proceed.

- AI will analyse the document and automatically populate the relevant fields. At the top of the screen, the AI will provide guidance on where it has placed specific information. For example, confirming that an instructing client, peril, or division was found and how it was matched. If the AI is unable to identify the correct field for certain data, it will notify you here too.

- Review the imported details and make any necessary edits or additions.

- Select the appropriate workflow and case manager for the job.

- Once all the required fields are completed, select Save.

âś…This finalises the import and creates a new project, with its first job created under the workflow you selected.
FAQ
What file types can I import? You can drag and drop or select a PDF, image, or TXT file, or choose to input text directly instead of uploading a file.
How do I know what the AI changed or found automatically? At the top of the Import Project screen, the AI lists the guidance it used to populate fields. For example, how it matched the instructing client, peril, or division. If it couldn't confidently place certain information, it will notify you there as well.
Do I need to fill in every field myself? No, AI will automatically populate the relevant fields from your uploaded document. You'll still need to review the imported details, make any necessary edits, and select the workflow and case manager before saving.
What happens when I select Save? This finalises the import and creates a new project, along with its first job based on the workflow you selected.
