How to add a User
đź’ˇAdding a user in Loop Logics sets up their login and controls exactly what they can see and do in the system. You can tailor a user's positions and access roles to their responsibilities, set their pay rates (including client-specific rates), and route their notifications to someone else while they're away.
Steps:
Open the Users Page
- Go to Admin, then under Company select Users.

- Select NEW in the upper right corner.

Enter the user's details
- Fill in the required fields: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Email Signature Title, and Mobile #. Job Title and Email Signature Sub-Title are optional.

- Once a user is created, their information can be edited, except their email address. Make sure it's entered correctly the first time.

Set positions and access
- Select the user's Position(s): this defines the role a user holds and can be assigned to specific jobs under that role (options include Estimator, Project Admin, Project Manager, and Tradesman).

- Select the user's Access Role(s). These determine the level of visibility and permissions the user has within the system.

- If necessary, assign the user to a specific Division.

Set pay rates
- Enter an Hourly Rate and After Hours Rate for the user.

- If the rate varies by client, select Client Specific Rates and add a rate for each relevant client. These rates feed directly into your timesheet reporting.

Set notifications and analytics access
- If the user is away or unavailable, use Redirect Notifications To to send their notifications to another user in Loop Logics.

- To grant the user access to analytics, tick Analytics Enabled.

Save
- Once all the information has been filled out, select Save.

FAQ
Can I change a user's email address after they've been created? No. Every other field can be edited later, but the email address is locked in once the user is created. Double-check it before saving or contact support@looplogics.com to update.
Can one user have more than one position or access role? Yes, both the Positions and Access Role fields accept multiple selections, so you can combine roles as needed (for example, Estimator and Project Manager).
What happens if I set a client-specific rate? It overrides the user's standard hourly rate for that client and is what feeds into your timesheet reports for work done for that client.
What does Analytics Enabled actually control? It grants the user access to the analytics dashboards. Leave it unticked for users who don't need that visibility.
