How to Configure MYOB
đź’ˇConnecting your MYOB account to Loop Logics lets your account codes sync straight through to your accounting software. The Loop Logics team has already handled the technical setup on their end, so you won't need to generate an API key or secret from MYOB, you just need to authorise the connection for each division.
Steps:
Open a division
- Navigate to Admin, then under Finance select Divisions.
- Select the division you want to connect.
Connect MYOB
- Select Connect to MYOB.
- You'll be prompted to authorise the connection on MYOB's site — log in and enter your details there to complete the authorisation.
- Once MYOB confirms the connection, return to Loop and select I Have Finished.
Set Account codes
- With the connection authorised, the account code fields are now available — set a code for each category: Build A/C, Make Safe - Residential A/C, Restoration - Residential A/C, Commercial A/C, Expense A/C, and Sub Contractor A/C.
- Select Save.
- Repeat this for each division you use.
FAQ
Do I need to generate an API key or secret for MYOB? No, the Loop Logics team has already handled this part of the setup, so you can connect directly without generating your own credentials.
Where do I connect MYOB? From Admin > Finance > Divisions, open the division you want to connect and select Connect to MYOB.
What happens when I select Connect to MYOB? You're taken to MYOB to log in and authorise the connection. Once that's done, return to Loop and select I Have Finished to continue.
Do I need to connect every division separately? Yes, connect and set account codes for each division you use.
Can I disconnect MYOB from a division? Yes, once connected, a Disconnect from MYOB option is available in the same place.
