Analytics - Notifications Dashboard

💡 The Notification Dashboard gives you one view of every team member's notifications: actionables, emails, mentions and tasks. Use it to see who has outstanding actions, filter down to what's urgent, and spot team members who may be overloaded.

Steps:

Step 1: Open the Notification Dashboard

In the left-hand Analytics menu, click Notification Dashboard. A bar chart of user notifications sits above a table of individual notifications.

Step 2: Read the chart

Each bar is a team member. The bar length is their number of notifications, split by colour into Actionables, Emails, Mentions and Tasks. Hover over a bar to see the breakdown for that person.

Step 3: Check where notifications come from

In Loop, click the bell in the top right-hand corner. The notification panel has tabs for Mentions, Emails, SMS, Actionables and Tasks. The dashboard collects these for every team member.

Step 4: Review the notification table

Below the chart, each notification is listed on its own row with the Name, Type, Action, Job Number, Address, Due On date and Content.

Step 5: Export the table

Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the table and choose Export to CSV or Export to Excel to get an overview of each team member's outstanding actions.

Step 6: Filter by Action

Click the Action filter and tick the actions you want, such as job comment, job open reminder, job unread email or job unread progress update.

Step 7: Filter by Job Number and Notification Type

Use the Job Number filter to focus on one or more jobs. Use Notification Type to choose between Actionables, Emails, Mentions and Tasks.

Step 8: Filter by Name and Due On

Use the Name filter to look at one team member, for example someone who is away and may not get to their items today. Use Due On to set a date range and find what's urgent.

Step 9: Review the filtered results

The chart and table update to match your filters. Use them to see which items need attention first, or which can be allocated to someone else.

FAQ

What can I use this dashboard for? It helps you see where team members may be overloaded and at risk of not meeting targets.

How do I cover for someone who is away? Filter by their name, then allocate their outstanding items to another team member. Confirm how allocation is done before publishing (see research note).

Where do these notifications come from? From the bell in the top right of Loop: Mentions, Emails, SMS, Actionables and Tasks.

Why is the bar for one person so much longer than the others? That person has far more notifications. It's a useful prompt to review their workload.
