Analytics - Job Status Bar Chart Dashboard
💡The Job Status Bar Chart Dashboard shows every job in your portfolio and the status it's currently in. Use it to see where your jobs are sitting, spot bottlenecks, and decide where to put your resources.
Steps:
Step 1: Hover over the bars to see job counts
Open Analytics and select Job Status Bar Chart from the left-hand menu. Hover over any bar in the # of Jobs in Status chart. A tooltip shows the Count of jobs in that status, the avg days in status, the sum of quoted and the Remaining Invoices.

Step 2: Select a bar to filter the table
Click a bar, for example New Job. The table below the chart updates to show only the jobs in that status.

Step 3: Scroll the table for more detail
Scroll along the bottom of the table to see more columns, such as Status, Blockers and Days in Status.
Step 4: Filter by Job Status
Use the Job Status filter at the top of the dashboard to choose which statuses appear in the chart. The list shows each status with a checkbox, plus Select all and a Show selected toggle.
To see only closed jobs, clear Select all and tick just your closed statuses. This is handy for checking how many jobs you've lost over a period and why. A status in your workflow that records whether a job was lost to a competing builder or because the price was too high helps you see where you sit in the market.

Step 5: Filter by Instructing Client
Open the Instructing Client filter, clear Select all, then tick the client you want, for example AAI Limited.

Step 6: Review the client's jobs
The chart now shows only that client's jobs by status. In the example, AAI Limited has 14 in New Job, 9 in Makesafe, 10 in New Report Request and 3 in Works in Progress. Hover or click the bars to dig further.

Step 7: Export to CSV or Excel
If a client asks for a view of all their jobs, use the three-dot menu on the chart or the table. Choose Export to CSV (or Export to Excel on the table) and share the file.

Step 8: Filter by Case Manager
To look at your team's portfolio, set Instructing Client back to Select all. Then open Case Manager, clear Select all and tick the person you want.

Step 9: Review their pipeline
The chart now shows that case manager's jobs by status. Use this to see where bottlenecks sit in your process, spot inefficiencies and find opportunities to manage jobs better. It also gives you a snapshot of where the business stands today.

How do I see only closed jobs? Open Job Status, clear Select all and tick only your closed statuses.
Can I combine filters? Yes. You can filter by client and case manager together, as well as Job Number, State, Project Manager, Estimator, Division, Workflow Name, Blockers, Status Date, CAT Code and First Appointment.
