How to send a Text Message
📲This article covers how to open a job's SMS conversation in the Loop Logics mobile app and send a message using a template. Messaging contacts directly from the job means updates reach the right person without switching to a separate app.
Step 1: Open SMS Messages for the Job
From the job page, tap the speech bubble icon in the top toolbar to open SMS Messages.
Details:
- Sits alongside the Site Photos camera icon and the Site Forms icon in the job's toolbar
- Lists every contact associated with the job .
Step 2: Open a Conversation
Tap a contact to view the message history with them.
Details:
- Shows previous messages with a timestamp and the sender's role.
- A Message field and Send button sit at the bottom, with a + icon beside them
Step 3: Use a Message Template
Tap the + icon to open Message Templates, then tap a template to load it into the message field.
Available Templates Include:
- Customer Callback Request
- New Allocated Job
- New Quote Request
- Appointment Confirmation
- Urgent MS Job
- Appointment confirmation

- The template list is scrollable, with more templates below what's shown here
- Selecting a template fills the message field with its wording, ready to review before sending
Step 4: Review and Send
Check the message in the field, then tap Send.

- Review the text carefully before sending, it's worth confirming any merged details are correct before sending
- Tap in the message field to edit the wording if anything needs adjusting
